4 Top Hypnosis Sales Training Techniques

Whether you’re an experienced salesperson or a newcomer to the sales industry, you probably realize that it’s not a piece of cake to sell something.  It can take some people years to develop good sales skills.  Some salespeople will never really reach the level in their career they want, no matter how hard they try.  Then there are those few salespeople who seem to effortlessly sell anything to anyone.  How would you like to be one of those people?  By learning a few hypnosis sales techniques, you can become a great salesperson.  If you’re already a great salesperson, these techniques can make you better.

1. Don’t sell them.

Great salespeople usually know you have to make the customer want to buy from you.  You don’t accomplish this by selling the product or service.  You have to sell the problem that the product or service will solve.  It’s absolutely necessary that you appeal to your customer’s emotions.  Most people don’t make sales decisions rationally.  They may rationally know they need life insurance.  It doesn’t mean they’re going to rush out and buy it.  As a salesperson, it’s your job to make them want it.  By the time you’re finished, you want them to beg you to give them the insurance, or whatever it is you’re selling.

2. Use positive language.

When you’re selling something, you want to be aware of your language.  You don’t want to use negative language with your customers.  By using positive language, you control the tone of the conversation.  If you know what the negative aspects of your product or service is, find a way to spin it in a positive way.  If you notice the customer is starting to be negative, you need to put a stop to it.  Agree with what they are saying, then subtly lead the conversation back to a positive note.  You don’t want to argue with them or fight it.  This will just be counterproductive.  Make it clear that you understand their concerns and find a positive way to justify them.

3. Try anchoring.

Anchoring can be a positive tool in sales if you know how to use it correctly.  Anchoring is where a sight, smell, sound, etc. is anchored to a specific memory or feeling.  For instance, the smell of crayons may make you remember a moment from your childhood.  All of us have thousands of anchors.  While most of them happen naturally, you can create them.  Anchoring during the sales process can help you get the response or emotion you want from your customer.  There are several ways you can use anchoring, which one you use will depend on your situation.  This is a technique that you will need to learn and practice if you want it to work.

4. Tell stories.

Stories are a great way to bring out emotion in your customers.  They are full of details that describe feelings, problems, solutions, etc.  You can tell personal stories or stories from past customers, as long as they relate to the point you want to convey.  To get the best results, you want to tell a story that your customers will relate to.  You can also use the story to showcase the best benefits of your product or service without having to explain them to your customers as a sales pitch.

Hypnosis sales training will help you take these techniques to the next level and teach you many, many more.  You will be amazed at how your sales will change once you learn hypnotic selling techniques.  There are a few different ways you can learn them.  Two of the most common are hypnosis sales training seminars and courses you can find online.  While the seminars are more personal, and you get the opportunity to socialize, they are very expensive.  For a small fraction of the cost, you can learn everything you need to know from online courses.  You can research several programs over conversational or covert hypnosis to find one that’s right for you and your budget.
